Q. How does this air fairing work to save fuel?
A. The air fairing redirects on-coming air around and over the trailer, which turns detached fuel robbing turbulent air into smooth laminar low drag air. The less turbulence the better the fuel savings.
Q. What kind of fuel savings can I expect?
A. Depending on the angle of the wind and speed traveling, one can expect 10 to 12 per cent fuel savings.
Q. Does this interfere with my GPS module?
A. NO – in fact the “look angle” from the satellite is improved as the mount at the rear is optimally located for the best reception.
Q. Do air fairings come pre colored?
A. We can color match using high UV non fading gelcoats or paint in our new state of the art paint booth.
Q. Will all the necessary mounting hardware come with the air fairing package?
A. Yes, all our products include stainless steel hardware and powder coated brackets with assembly instructions.
Q. When ordering my new truck, what should I specify from the options list.
A. You need to order the roof fairing bracket option and cab extenders if required. Our roof fairing is designed to fit the OEM factory installed brackets.
Q. Where can I find installation and part list drawings?
A. Installation and part drawings are included with each air fairing. However, you can view a copy from the Assembly Instructions section.
